The Minerva Central School Board of Education voted to appoint Peter Accardi to a four-year probationary appointment as a teacher of 7–12 Mathematics, effective Sept. 1, 2024. The motion, moved by Mrs. West and seconded by Mrs. Griffen, "BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Minerva Central School District, hereby accepts the recommendation of the Superintendent to appoint Peter Accardi to a four (4) year probationary appointment as a teacher of 7-12 Mathematics in the Mathematics tenure area (Masters +30 Step 18), effective September 1, 2024," carried 3-0.
The special meeting was called to order by President Nellie R. Halloran at 8:22 a.m. The board recorded no public comment before or after the appointment. The board entered executive session at 8:23 a.m. and exited at 8:31 a.m., then immediately adjourned at 8:31 a.m. District Clerk Lynn Green signed the minutes on 8/26/2024.
