Ms. Hyatt delivered the curriculum and instruction report at the Nov. 14 meeting, describing ongoing special-education (CSE) items, the NYS report cycle and parent surveys, and a curriculum-data review of math, science and ELA benchmarks. She told the board a BHSN contract was unable to be filled, and she highlighted planned student-safety programming including an Erin's Law presentation and a Signs of Suicide presentation.
Ms. Hyatt also listed co-curricular and enrichment activities (Open House, book fair, fish hatchery field trip, CTE Works visit, CASMA activities, Up Yonda Farm and the Glens Falls Symphony) and mentioned the fire company's presentations for recruitment and safety across grade bands.
