Minerva board signs off on December financials and multiple departmental reports
Summary
The board approved audit vouchers, December operating and cash reports, and accepted Dec. departmental reports (Town Clerk, Transfer Station, Food Pantry, Building & Code, Minerva Volunteer Fire & Rescue). Supervisor McNally said 2024 ended under budget with higher revenue.
At the Jan. 16 meeting the Town Board approved routine financial actions: audit voucher approval (MOTION #41), operating statements for December 2024 (MOTION #42), and the December 2024 cash report (MOTION #43). All motions were seconded and carried 4-0.
The board also approved the Town Clerk report (MOTION #51), Transfer Station report (MOTION #52), Food Pantry report (MOTION #53), Building and Code Enforcement report for 2024 (MOTION #54), and the Minerva Volunteer Fire & Rescue December 2024 report (MOTION #55). Supervisor Stephen McNally reviewed the operating statements and noted the town ended 2024 under budget and over on revenue, a pattern also present in the highway department.
