Alderman Lewis told the council she had changed her residence to Washington, Indiana, and formally resigned her seat as Ward I alderman. The minutes do not record a successor or an appointment process at this meeting.
Dunn reported increased trespassing at the former United Methodist Village property. Alderman Greene said Wreaths Across America will place roughly 1,000 wreaths on tombstones at Lawrenceville City Cemetery on Dec. 13. Mayor Courtney said he was scheduling a Labor/Management meeting and a Park/Cemetery meeting for mid-December.
