The board also passed a resolution abating taxes previously levied for 2024 to pay debt service on the district’s General Obligation Lease Obligations (Alternate Revenue Source), Series 2016, Series 2017 and Series 2017A, and a separate resolution authorizing tax abatement for the Harbor Freight Tools property; both measures passed unanimously.
The tax-levy hearing was opened and then closed during the meeting: Mrs. Matenaer moved to go into the hearing, and later moved to close it; both procedural motions passed by unanimous roll call. The minutes do not record additional discussion or amendments to levy rates in the meeting record.
