Council approves minutes, bills and a string of purchases and ordinances

The Lawrenceville City Council convened Feb. 12 and approved the regular January minutes and the minutes of a Feb. 4 special session. Greene moved to approve the regular minutes and Goins seconded; Volkman moved and Goins seconded to approve the Feb. 4 special session minutes. Both motions passed on voice votes.
On roll-call votes the Council approved paying the Sewer and Water Department bills for January and a series of motions and ordinances by 6-0-1 (Dunn absent). Brewer moved to approve the January bills; the roll-call tally listed Waldrop, Volkman, Greene, Goins, Fritch and Brewer as yeas. The Council also voted to accept Kelly Lewis's resignation (motion by Waldrop), adopt Ordinance 1620 (property transfer at 902 12th Street), Ordinance 1621 (property transfer at 1510 13th Street) and Ordinance 1622 (raising the water system deposit to $200).
