City committees told alderpersons that the public relations/communication/park website is nearly ready to launch and requested final edits and aerial photos before publication. Committee members were asked to send additional website changes and FAQs to Alderperson Alisha Metz ahead of the next meeting.
Streets and Property reported that Darin is preparing plans for park, Pearl–School Street, and parking-lot projects with bids expected in mid-to-late May 2026; because Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) funds cannot be combined with other sources, work will likely be split into separate but simultaneous bid packages. Heritage Center work will be phased to reduce up-front costs with phase 1 focused on painting, lighting upgrades, cleanup and sound deadening; restroom upgrades will be scheduled for a later phase.
