Mayor Jenn Najdek told the board the village received $675,000.00 from New York State Park and Recreation for the pool project, bringing total grant funding for the pool to $7,560,000. "I would like to do a short‑term BAN," Najdek said, referring to a bond anticipation note to provide near‑term cash flow for construction.
Najdek said the bath house and pool are expected to be under construction at the same time and asked trustees to consider banks the village knows or to consult municipal advisors to arrange short‑term financing. Deputy Mayor Matt Hartzog and Trustee David Sherman indicated they would prepare related materials for the Jan. 27 meeting; Trustee Lisa Hermann said she is seeking another meeting for the Millerton Community Project by the end of February.
