Supervisor Casey Eckler told the board that proposed Planning Board amendments require clarification and asked Planning Board Member Russell Langford to follow up and bring specifics to the next Town Board meeting. The item remains on the agenda for a future session after additional review.
Eckler also raised the topic of ideas for a new town barn. Town Superintendent Billy Sutphin said he will contact Laurens to discuss possible shared services that could reduce costs or provide alternatives to building a new facility. No formal decisions or funding commitments were made at the Jan. 15 meeting; the matter was left for future discussion after Planning Board review and outreach on shared-services options.
