Moira board approves $47,839.53 in abstracts and authorizes contractor payment

The Town of Moira Board on Sept. 10 approved General Abstract 9 (claims #175–187) totaling $15,542.05 and Highway Fund Abstract 9 (claims #109–115) totaling $32,297.48, a combined total of $47,839.53. The motion to approve the abstracts passed on a roll call vote with Councilmen Timothy Trimm, Frank Snyder, Adam Deuyour, Justin Robinson and Supervisor Chad Niles all recorded as Aye.
The board also authorized payment to contractor Steve Rabideau for work completed on Sayles Road after a motion by Councilman Trimm and second by Councilman Snyder. Highway Superintendent Mike Helm separately submitted a $581 check from scrap-metal proceeds to the Town Supervisor, an item the board recorded in the Highway Superintendent’s report.
