During the Aug. 27 meeting the Town Board reviewed bids for fencing and backstops at Cody O'Connor Park and for a Thermoplastic (TPO) over-metal retrofit roofing system for the town offices. One fencing bid submitted by In and Out Fencing, LLC for $52,500 was rejected based on proposal terms and the board voted to re-bid the fencing project with a return to the Sept. 24 meeting.
For the town office roofing project the board read bids aloud: Nolette's at $31,500 and Premier Roof Systems at $66,629. The board awarded the roofing contract to Nolette's by roll-call vote (motion by Councilman Trimm, seconded by Councilman Snyder); motion carried 5–0. The rejected fencing bid will be solicited again and returned to the board for a later decision.
