Lansing committee reviews Open Meetings Act obligations, sets monthly meeting schedule

Village Administrator Dan Podgorski reviewed the Open Meetings Act (OMA) and explained that the Trail Town Advisory Committee, as part of the public body of the Village, must follow OMA requirements. Mayor Hardy opened the meeting with brief remarks thanking members for their service and the expertise they bring to the effort.
The committee set its next meeting for Feb. 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. and agreed to meet monthly on the second Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Lansing Village Hall for Trail Town work. There was no public comment; the meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
