Human Relations Commission outlines spring and summer community activities including Prevent Child Abuse Awareness and Juneteenth

For the 3rd Annual Music for the Soul on May 31, 2026, McDaniels reported that performer "Reunique" reached out to be part of the event; commissioners said they will discuss the Lan-Sing event further at the next meeting. On Juneteenth (June 19), the commission agreed to take up planning at the February meeting, including whether to hire a band, set a budget and solicit food donations.
