Summary
The board approved the consent agenda as amended—approving minutes, treasurer's report, Neff-Colvin payment applications for JHS door replacement, JHS girls' soccer trip to Bettendorf, IESA membership renewal and an amended 2024–2025 calendar—while tabling the 2025–2026 registration fees for further consideration.

At its April 23 regular meeting, the Jacksonville SD 117 Board approved the consent agenda as amended and removed the 2025–2026 registration fees item for separate consideration. Items approved included the treasurer's report, prior meeting minutes (committee, special and regular), renewal of the district’s IESA membership for 2025–2026, release of certain closed minutes, approval of a JHS girls’ soccer trip to Bettendorf, IA, payment applications #4 and #5 to Neff-Colvin for JHS door replacement and security glazing, voluntary student accident insurance for 2025–2026, and an amended 2024–2025 school calendar.
The registration fee schedule for 2025–2026 was tabled by a motion from Teresa Wilson and Mike Lonergan and will be revisited at the next board meeting on May 21, 2025.
Why it matters: consent agenda approvals move routine operational items forward but the decision to table registration fees delays a matter directly affecting families until the May meeting.
