Minoa trustees approve SEQRA lead agency, service contract, memberships and other routine motions

At its March 2 meeting the Village of Minoa trustees approved a SEQRA lead‑agency resolution for a proposed Verterra development, renewed a Honeywell service agreement ($36,773.16), accepted surplus AED sale, scheduled a community development hearing, and approved personnel and parade participation for the fire department.
The Village of Minoa Board of Trustees on March 2 carried a series of motions spanning land‑use procedure, contracts and routine municipal business.
Key votes included unanimous approval to classify the Verterra LLC development as a Type I SEQRA action and to designate the Village Board as Lead Agency; approval of a Honeywell service agreement renewal for $36,773.16 for fiscal year 2026–27; and acceptance of a $1,000 purchase offer from North Bay Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. for two surplus LifePak AED 1000 monitors (SN #44083478 & SN #44068666).
The board also adopted a resolution supporting NYCOM’s request for an additional $100 million in Temporary Municipal Assistance and scheduled a public hearing on March 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. for the 2026 Community Development funding request and five‑year plan. Trustees approved an intermunicipal agreement with the Village of Manlius for code enforcement services from March 31 to April 19, 2026, and approved new volunteer fire memberships for Donald Money and Anna D’Amore as well as MFD, Inc.’s request to participate in the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 14, 2026.
Abstract #019 was approved for payment: General Fund vouchers 771–806 totaling $63,138.31; Sewer Fund vouchers 268–277 totaling $6,594.36; Trust & Agency vouchers 225–235 totaling $50,418.79.
