Minoa board approves routine minutes, cancels budget workshop and hears reports

At the Feb. 9 meeting the board approved the January 20 minutes, accepted the treasurer's report for January, canceled the Feb. 18 budget workshop, and heard trustee reports including thanks to the fire department and a reminder about the Lake Effect Half Marathon on Feb. 14.
Trustee John H. Champagne moved to approve the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes; Trustee Eric S. Christensen seconded and the motion carried. Trustee Christensen also moved to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending Jan. 31, 2026; Trustee J. Robert (Bobby) Schepp seconded and the board approved the report.
Trustee Schepp moved to cancel the February 18 budget workshop and Trustee Champagne seconded; the motion carried. In trustee reports, Trustee Schepp thanked Fire Chief Don Grevelding for the Fire Department's 2025 annual report and Trustee Christensen reminded attendees that the Lake Effect Half Marathon is Feb. 14 at 9 a.m. Mayor Brazill reported no new items and there were no public comments recorded before the board adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
