Committee staff read an expedited docket on June 10 that included several replat petitions. Cases read into the record included a replat for Amtrak Industrial Park (2701 South Emerson Avenue, subdividing 15.42 acres into 2 lots), Bridgeport Commons Section 1 (8828 Stonewall Drive, 0.49 acre into 2 lots), replat of block A Washington Market commercial subdivision (10435 East Washington Street, 9.98 acres into 2 lots) and a replat of part of the Victory Park Survey (5261 Elmwood Avenue, 13.30 acres into 2 lots).
When a member of the public objected to 2026PLT010 (listed at 1100 North German Church and 11020 East 10th Street), the committee pulled that item from the expedited docket for separate hearing. A motion to approve the remainder of the expedited docket as read by staff (with PLT010 removed) carried on the floor with a second and affirmative roll call.
Committee members and staff noted that expedited docket items are typically approved when the plat filing meets ordinance requirements and there is no remonstration or unresolved technical issue; PLT010 required a hearing because a remonstrator raised safety concerns for a nearby school.
