The Town Board authorized a $60,000 capital expenditure from DA.0.8760.424 Emergency Disaster Contractual–Storm Debby to DD Paving (6306 NY-30, Indian Lake, NY) to repave washouts and replace culverts on highways damaged by the recent storm. The action was accepted by unanimous consent as Resolution #156-2024.
Supervisor Chad Niles noted that all damage to Town highways had been repaired and repaved; closed bridges at Alburg Road and Elmer Road are the responsibility of Franklin County and will be addressed via county-level applications for repair or replacement funding. The $60,000 allocation covers repaving and culvert replacement work identified as storm-related.
