PTO, foundation and PAA announce fall events and fundraising plans

Several parent and community groups briefed the board on upcoming events and fundraisers. Mrs. Cutforth said the PTO's Little Library will be finished by the end of the week. Mrs. Lopez‑Caneva said the D91 Foundation will meet Aug. 21 to plan a 5K run set for Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025. Board President Garrett reported the Parent Athletic Association fundraiser at Beanie’s Candy Shop on Aug. 14 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and noted the PAA's next meeting is Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. in the Kelvin Grove LRC.
The board received these routine community updates during the communications portion of the agenda; they were informational and did not require board action at the Aug. 12 meeting.
