Lena board approves major pay applications for Camp Street, Main/Townline and Lena Drive Inn

The Village of Lena Board on Aug. 11 approved multiple contractor pay applications and associated change orders tied to ongoing street and drainage projects.

On a motion by Board member Christin Keeffer, seconded by Brandon Smith, the board approved Pay Application #1 to Martin & Company for Camp Street improvements in the amount of $198,736.92. The motion carried unanimously (all aye). The board also approved Pay Application #1 for Fischers for Main Street and Townline Road improvements and Change Order #1 for Fischer's Excavating.

The board approved Pay Application #2 for Lena Drive Inn drainage improvements in the amount of $163,334.67 on a motion by Dean Rood, second by Keeffer (all aye). Minutes also record approval of grouped change orders/pay applications described as 'pay application #1-5' in the record with an aggregate amount of $2,766; the meeting minutes show inconsistent contractor names adjacent to that line.
