The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners voted Sept. 2 to approve Planning & Zoning Technician Alex Schultz’s request to apply for State of Minnesota grant funds to support agricultural inspection work.
Schultz told the board the minimum award is approximately $5,000 but could be larger depending on application pools. "Schultz informed the board that the State of Minnesota has grant funds for Ag Inspectors and he would like the board to approve his applying for the grant funds." Commissioner Donna Gravley moved to approve applying for the grant, Commissioner Larry Anderson seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
