Morehouse supervisor authorized to sign $4,500 fireworks contract for FebFest

The Morehouse Town Board authorized Supervisor Anthony Fernandez to sign a contract with American Fireworks for the FebFest display when the contract is delivered to the town.
Supervisor Fernandez told the board the town received a quote of $4,500 from American Fireworks to replicate a prior display. "Their quote to do the same fireworks display that they did for Oxbow is $4500.00," the minutes state. Fernandez asked the board to allow him to sign the contract as soon as it arrives; Brian Taylor moved to authorize the signature and Mary Ann Mosher seconded. The motion carried with all present voting aye.
No contract was attached to the minutes; the board's authorization is contingent on the receipt of the written contract and any terms it contains.
