Supervisor Anthony Fernandez updated the board on a proposed cell tower, saying Morehouse "is going to be approved" but that substantial infrastructure work remains before the site can operate. "They still have to put the bridge in over the wetlands and run lines from the Town of Morehouse to the Town of Arietta," Fernandez said, adding that "it's still going to be quite a while before the cell tower is operational."
Fernandez told the board the Adirondack Park Agency is still negotiating with the Town of Arietta about the tower's height, and that those discussions factor into the schedule. The board did not take any formal action on the project during the meeting; Fernandez presented the update as informational.
