Following an executive session on personnel, the Moriah Central School District Board on Jan. 21 approved recommendations from the Committee on Pre-School Education, the Committee on Special Education, the 504 Committee and the Sub-Committee on Special Education for a list of student cases with an effective date of Jan. 21, 2025. The motion was made by Mrs. Gilbo and seconded by Mr. Malbon; the minutes record 'All in favor.'
The board listed student identifiers in the motion (for example, #9907757, 996923, 9907531 and others). The action implements individualized recommendations made by the district committees; the minutes do not include the substance of each recommendation, only the committee approval and the effective date.
