Moriah Central board appoints teacher aides, food-service helper and coaches

On Nov. 19 the Moriah Central School Board approved several personnel actions, appointing Madison Daly and Ashley Sherman as probationary teacher aides effective Oct. 28, 2024, and Kayla Clark effective Nov. 12, 2024. The appointments were made by motion of Mr. Malbon and seconded by Mr. Harlow, and recorded as carried.
The board also appointed Anna Mauran as a part-time Food Service Helper, effective Nov. 20, 2024, at an hourly rate of $16.20. In athletics, the board named Steve Congemi as Modified Basketball Coach and Chris Thompson as Indoor Track Coach for the 2024-25 school year. All personnel motions passed with recorded unanimous approval.
