Board approves second reading of anti-discrimination, Title IX and harassment policies

The Moriah Central School Board approved a second reading of a set of policies including: 0100 Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity; 0110 Sexual Harassment; 0110.2 Sexual Harassment in the Workplace; 0111, 0111R & 0111E (sex discrimination and sex-based harassment — Title IX); 0115-R Student Harassment & Bullying Prevention and Intervention; and 9520.6 Policy on the Rights of Employees to Express Breast Milk in the Workplace. The motion was made by Mrs. Gaddor and seconded by Mr. Malbon and recorded as carried unanimously.
Board minutes list these policy codes by number as the items under the second-reading batch; the board adopted them as the fourth installment of policy readings, advancing them toward final adoption subject to district policy procedure.
