Supervisor Anthony Fernandez updated the Morehouse Town Board on a set of administrative and infrastructure items. He said Hamilton County Accounting Services is ‘‘still dealing with the bank’’ on direct-deposit matters and that PITS, the town's accounting service, has requested IRS transcripts to resolve a Social Security/IRS discrepancy for 2022.
Fernandez also said the town filed documentation in response to a notice of noncompliance on a COVID-related grant and is awaiting the grant administrator's reply. On streetlighting, he reported National Grid has shut off three lights the town requested turned off and the town is waiting for work orders to install new LED streetlights. The board did not take further formal action on these items during the meeting.
