Board adds substitutes, appoints physical education teacher starting Sept. 1

By motion of Mrs. Gilbo, seconded by Mr. Harlow, Heather Curran, Megen Charboneau and Robert Thierry were added to the substitute list; the minutes record the roll call as 4 YES, 0 NO, 0 ABSTAIN. The board also appointed Liam McDonough to a probationary Physical Education teaching position effective Sept. 1, 2024. The appointment documentation notes the hire is subject to Section 3012 of the New York Education Law and that McDonough will be placed at step 1 of the current teacher salary schedule.
