The Morehouse Town Board voted Dec. 28 to adopt a 2025 pay-rate schedule that sets hourly rates for town positions and formalizes a longevity pay schedule. William Uebele moved to adopt the schedule and Mary Ann Mosher seconded; the motion carried with three ayes and two members absent.
The adopted schedule lists Highway Department Laborer at $19.78 per hour, MEO at $20.78, HEO at $25.96, Deputy Town Clerk and several maintenance roles at $19.57 per hour, and Town Maintenance (Carpenter/Handyman) at $30.00 per hour. The longevity schedule pays incremental sums beginning at $600 after 10 years and topping out at $3,000 after 30 years of service.
