Supervisor Anthony Fernandez opened the Oct. 15 special budget meeting at 1:00 p.m. and told those present the purpose was a detailed review: "this meeting was for the Town Board to talk about every line in the budget," he said. The board then proceeded to a general discussion of the proposed 2025 budget.
The meeting record lists board members William Uebele, Sonya DeVuyst and Mary Ann Mosher as present, with Brian Taylor noted as absent. Two public comment periods were opened and closed with no speakers recorded. The board did not adopt any budget items at the Oct. 15 session; it scheduled further public sessions on Oct. 23 for finalization and a hearing on a proposed local law regarding the tax levy.
