Supervisor Anthony Fernandez updated the board that the town's LED streetlight conversion is nearly complete; he said National Grid is working to move and correct lights and that new fixtures and poles for the Route 8 pull-off may incur additional costs.
On a separate infrastructure item, Fernandez said the town is awaiting approval for a bridge that would give access to wetlands connected to a proposed cell-tower project. He said the county has agreed to help construct the bridge once the approval is received. No vote or formal agreement was recorded at the Oct. 8 meeting.
