Supervisor Anthony Fernandez told the board the town and volunteer Ed Post are designing an 8-by-6-foot porch-style roof over the Recreation Center door and are planning holes in the driveway to set poles and a sign that would read "Morehouse Recreation Center."
Fernandez reported the main Recreation Center roof repair has been completed using most materials on hand; "the lowest bid that came in for that was $3800.00 and it was able to get done with $750.00," according to the minutes. Board members asked whether supplies stored in the back room were used; Fernandez said they were and only a screen and screws were purchased.
