Returning from closed session at 10:15 p.m., the Lincolnwood School District 74 Board voted to approve settlement of Cook County tax-rate objections for the 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 tax years. The settlement was presented in Stipulation and Agreement documents and specifies a rate of 6 mils (0.006%) per $100 of equalized assessed value (EAV).
Secretary John P. Vranas moved the motion and Member Elissa B. Rosenberg seconded. President Theodore submitted the motion to a recorded vote: Ayes — Foutris, Vranas, Kwon, Oleniczak, Rosenberg, Theodore; Nays — none; Absent — Seta. The motion passed. The minutes indicate the action was taken after closed-session consideration under the attorney‑client/pending litigation exceptions listed in the agenda.
