The Lisle Community Unit School District 202 Board of Education adopted the fiscal year 2026 budget during its Sept. 22, 2025 meeting, approving the document included in the Board packet and accompanying resolution. The packet lists the recommended adopted totals as “total direct receipts of $45,253,517 and total direct disbursements of $46,083,662.”
The budget adoption was recorded in meeting materials and included on the consent agenda approved by a roll-call vote of 6-0 (AYE: Foster, Helderle, Nagler, Di Domenico, Novosel, Ahlmann). Superintendent Keith Filipiak and Director of Finance David Wilkinson presented supporting materials; the packet shows multi-fund summaries, line-item details and the ISBE budget form. Board materials note the budget hearing occurred on Sept. 22 and that copies had been available for public inspection for at least 30 days as required by law.
The FY2026 adopted budget materials show major fund-level estimates: total direct receipts shown in the packet (without on-behalf payments) and fund-by-fund line items for Educational, Operations & Maintenance, Transportation, Debt Service and other funds. The packet also records the district's plan for transfers and other sources/uses and an estimated ending fund balance per fund. The Board directed that the adopted budget be filed with the county clerk and submitted to ISBE per statutory requirements.
