District 112 backs neighboring districts’ withdrawal from TrueNorth cooperative; files intent to withdraw

Those districts asked other TrueNorth members for resolutions supporting their intent to withdraw. The administration said District 112 also filed an intent to withdraw to protect itself from assuming cooperative liabilities.
The Board approved resolutions 250708c–f supporting the four districts’ withdrawal notices; the motions were moved and seconded as recorded and passed by roll call vote (AYES: Fink, Fishman, Itkin, Kessler, Lasko). Dr. Schroeder framed the action as a protective step while the affected districts pursue withdrawal under the Illinois School Code.
