Board enters executive session and later approves substitute hires; resignations announced
Summary
The board met in executive session for personnel and student matters, then approved two substitute hires on returning to open session. The meeting included announcements of resignations and scheduling of future BOE meetings.
At 9:07 p.m. trustees entered executive session for student matters, appointment/employment/compensation/discipline of specific employees, collective bargaining and review of executive session minutes. The board resumed regular session at 10:40 p.m.
On resuming public session the board approved employment of JoLyn Allison as a substitute teacher at a rate of $140 per day and approved Ashley Brooks as a long-term daily substitute teacher (Level 1) for the 2025'2026 school year. Earlier in the meeting trustees announced resignations of Jill Potts and Carrie Myers and reminded the public of upcoming BOE meetings on Jan. 13 and Jan. 27, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 10:42 p.m.
