The council authorized two intergovernmental/service agreements during the Feb. 2 meeting. First, the annual GIS agreement with the Midwest Assistance Program for $500 was presented and the council authorized the mayor to sign and pay the fee. Later in the meeting, the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance (SDPSAA) intergovernmental agreement was presented; following discussion the council authorized the mayor to sign and directed the finance officer to return the document before the March 1, 2026 deadline.
Both motions were recorded as carried. The minutes list the $500 GIS fee explicitly; the SDPSAA motion was recorded at the end of the meeting with five ayes and zero nays recorded. The minutes do not include full agreement text or long-term obligations emerging from the SDPSAA document.
