The Board approved an administrative recommendation to change school attendance boundaries so nine homes expected to be built on the former Lincoln School parcel (addresses 711 Lincoln Avenue West and 1349–1357 Oakwood Avenue) will be assigned to Ravinia Elementary rather than Indian Trail. Jeremy Davis explained the parcel borders the Ravinia attendance area and the change will help balance enrollment after Ravinia's expansion; the motion passed unanimously by roll call.
Board members voted in favor without recorded objections; the change is effective for those new housing addresses and will be reflected in district attendance-area maps and enrollment planning.
