The Morris Central School District board approved the slate of CSE and CPSE committee members for the 2026–2027 school year, naming Carolyn Cooper and April Vunk as CSE and CPSE chairpersons and listing roles including school psychologist Kelly Gardner and required parent and teacher representatives. The motion to approve the committee membership carried 4-0.
The board also adopted District Investment Policy #5220 and re-adopted the district's policies and code of ethics that were in effect the prior year. The investment-policy text in the minutes references allowable investments (including certificates of deposit and repurchase agreements) and cites Education Law Sections 1604-a, 1723(a), 2503(1) and 3652; General Municipal Law Sections 10 and 39; and Local Finance Law Section 165. The policy will be reviewed and re-adopted at least annually or whenever new investment legislation or other conditions warrant.
