During the Superintendent’s semi-annual review, Dr. Ed Condon presented recommendations regarding closed-session records. The board voted not to release prior closed-session minutes and separately approved destruction of closed-session audio recordings dated between January 23, 2023 and June 20, 2023. The motion to destroy recordings was moved by Mr. Joseph Cortese and seconded by Mrs. Katie Avalos; roll-call votes are recorded in the minutes.
Later the board voted to move into closed session to discuss collective negotiating matters and salary schedules, entering closed session at approximately 8:22 p.m. and returning to open session at about 8:38 p.m. After reconvening, the board approved the Personnel Report as presented. The meeting minutes do not provide additional detail on personnel actions discussed in closed session; the minutes record only the board’s approval of the personnel report.
