Board approves payrolls, inter-fund transfer, ISBE plan and Desmos adoption

The Board of Education of School District #90 unanimously approved several routine and substantive items at its June 17, 2025 meeting, including payrolls and accounts payable, a permanent inter-fund transfer, the district’s ISBE Consolidated District Plan and a new 5th-grade math curriculum.
On the consent agenda the board approved May payrolls totaling $1,341,083.76, board payments relating to payrolls totaling $480,616.63 and accounts payable totaling $476,437.50. It also approved a resolution authorizing a permanent inter-fund accounting transfer from the Education Fund to the Debt Service Fund in the amount of $136,542.67 (the resolution was revised to correct a typographical error). The board approved the ISBE Consolidated District Plan to apply for Title/IDEA grants for FY26 and adopted the 5th Grade Desmos Math curriculum, with first-year costs estimated at $13,575 and an estimated $10,000 for consumables in year two.
The meeting record shows formal roll-call votes for each motion and no recorded nays. The board moved into a short closed session to discuss collective bargaining and salary schedules, returned to open session, approved a personnel report and adjourned at approximately 8:46 p.m.
