Dr. Matt Gordon shared a video presentation from Ron Uselton describing this summer’s facilities work by the M‑C‑K Team, which included deep cleaning, grounds maintenance, installation of new K–2 desks, and gym/stage repairs. Dr. Gordon praised the M‑C‑K Team’s efforts and thanked them for a successful summer of work.
On building projects, Dr. Gordon reported that the district’s most recent update indicated consultant CEDG planned to be on site in about four weeks to advance the solar power and track repair projects. The board discussed transportation bidding for 2026–27 and the option of allowing the awarded transportation company to house buses on district property if that arrangement would yield cost savings; board members were willing to explore the option but made no commitments during the meeting. Projected enrollment for 2025–26 was reported at 205 students.
