Chair asks members to fill at-large seat; committee ratifies executive actions in arrears

Chair Lee Cabness opened committee reports by noting the executive committee has one open at-large position following Pat Anderson's departure; he said the seat cannot be filled by someone in law enforcement, fire, EMS or public health and asked members to suggest candidates.
Cabness also moved to ratify executive-committee actions that had been taken in March and April (grant applications submitted with prior committee approval) and asked the membership to approve those actions in arrears. The motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Cabness said the executive committee processed and submitted two grants earlier in the year and that the full committee must formally approve those earlier actions under bylaws.
