Chairman Charles Coffey read a proclamation honoring Pam Burgamy for her years of service to the Chattahoochee Valley Library and the community. The proclamation recognizes Burgamy’s contributions to the library renovation, the establishment of a reading garden and her work with children through regular reading programs. The commission voted unanimously to adopt the proclamation at the July 1 meeting.
Commissioner Timothy Biddle noted he and the county manager attended Burgamy’s retirement party and thanked her for her service. The proclamation records that Burgamy retired effective March 1, 2025.
