Commissioners renew three Child and Youth Services contracts, set evaluation and investigation rates

The approved agreements are: (a) Dickinson Center, Inc. for evaluations from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 at a rate of $200 per evaluation; (b) a renewal with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services for the Child Welfare Information Sharing System from Oct. 1, 2026 to Sept. 30, 2027; and (c) a renewal with the Children's Advocacy Center of McKean County for investigations from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 at a rate of $300 per child.
The board voted to bundle the three CYS items and approved them together. The minutes do not record further contract terms, total annual costs, or the names of individual contract signatories; those details would be available in the respective contract files in the Commissioner's office.
