Board hears wellness committee proposal to stop food at district parties; strategic plan draft presented

The committee suggested replacing food with small tangible items such as stickers and scent pencils; the board will consider approving the recommendation at its August meeting.
The board also received a draft of the Strategic Plan 2025-2030; the draft was presented and is scheduled to be returned for approval at the August 2025 board meeting. Several student-behavior and support policies were also listed for first reading and will be reviewed at the August meeting.
