Items approved included acceptance of a Federal Aviation Administration FY2026 Airport Infrastructure Grant agreement (contract 3-08-0030-069-2026), authorization of the County Manager’s signature on a 2026 asphalt‑paving authorization, a Veterans Assistance Grant application to the Colorado Division of Veterans Affairs for $30,000, participation in the Contexture Community Resource Network for $7,320, and contract amendment and statement‑of‑work items for public‑health programs totaling smaller amounts.
The Board also ratified an assumption of fire control duty for Elk (CO‑GMF‑000114) at the Sheriff’s Office, approved a personal data privacy policy update, and accepted other routine procurement and grant signature authorities listed in the packet. Chief Finance Officer Melissa LaMonica and department staff were present and the motions carried unanimously.
