Addison board approves multiple line-item budget transfers to cover highway and garage needs

On Nov. 6, 2025 the Town Board approved a series of budget transfers to shift funds between line items, primarily to shore up highway and garage accounts ahead of winter. Supervisor Jack Thompson moved to approve the listed transfers and Council Member Joseph Trappler seconded; the motion carried with all members voting Aye.
The transfers included $3,000 from A5142.12 (Snow O/T) to DA5132.403 (Machinery Repairs); $2,327.01 from DA9060.8 (Hospital Ins) to DA5132.403 (Machinery Repairs); and multiple smaller moves into A5132.408 (Garage Supplies), among others. The board recorded the transfers and authorized the bookkeeper and highway superintendent to implement the reallocated funds.
