The Town Board voted unanimously on Oct. 9 to contract with SCT Computers to convert the Town of Addison website to a .gov domain to meet a new state requirement. Council Member Joseph Trappler moved the measure; the motion stated the town would enter into the contract "to convert the Town of Addison Website to .gov in compliance with NY State mandate for an amount not to exceed $3600." The board approved the motion on a roll-call vote (Ayes: Lyons, Weale, Trappler and Becker).
To fund the work, the board approved a budget transfer of $4,000 from A1410.12 (Town Clerk Deputy) to A1610.413 (Building – Website). Council Member Trappler made the transfer motion and it carried 4-0. The board also discussed procurement account options and agreed to accept an Association of Towns-sponsored Amazon Business account in place of a Sam’s Club account.
