On June 3 the commission amended the meeting agenda to declare a 2008 Massey Ferguson tractor surplus and approved trading the vehicle to Carlson Brothers toward the purchase price of a replacement New Holland tractor for an offered $10,000.
Vice-Chairman Timothy Biddle moved to amend the agenda to include the surplus declaration; Commissioner Jason Frost moved approval of the trade and Commissioner Gerald Douglas seconded. The motions passed unanimously. County staff were directed to proceed with the trade-in transaction and apply the credit to the tractor procurement process.
